Third Screen's mobile ticketing module provides a flexible ticketing solution and is in use by MySpace for their ticketing for the Black Curtain and Secret Show events.
In this case MySpace members text in a key word and Third Screen then use matching algorithms to review the text and - if correct - issue a sequentially numbered ticket via MMS (with SMS failover) to a predetermined quota. Once the quota has been filled Third Screen notify the client who then notifies their members that the event is full and no more entries are accepted.
Third Screen's ability to move this previously paper based ticketing to the mobile has eradicated a number of problems with the MySpace events and has meant that MySpace members are getting a better and more convenient service.
